Beauty Trends Tuesdays - Men's 90s Hairstyle

Welcome back to some more beauty trends.

In this week’s beauty trends, we are taking a look back at a few most popular men’s hairstyles of the 90s.

Last week, I showed a few of the most popular woman’s 90s hairstyle. Now let’s hear it for the boys.

The Caesar Cut

It was popularized by George Clooney. The hairstyle was named after Julius Caesar where his images depicted him wearing that hairstyle in such manner. It’s a hairstyle with horizontally straight cut, short fringe.













Frosted Tips


Popular in the late 90s amongst every male star and boy band members. Hair was cut short then hairspray and gels were used to create spikes. The tips of the hair were bleached hence ‘frosted tips’.

 

Curtained Hairstyle


It was believed this form of hairstyle made men look astonishingly gorgeous and gave out a cool aura.
















Hi-top Fade

Most youths belonging to Africa-America who were into the hip-hop and urban contemporary music scene had this haircut. This hairstyle is where the sides are cut off or kept short and the hair on top is made longer. 



Cornrows

This hairstyle was regarded as traditional African hairstyle; however, with the rise of the hip-hop culture in the 90s, cornrows became famous throughout the world.

Beauty Trends Tuesdays - Woman's 90s Hairstyle

Hi guys!

So I'm in charge of the 90s beauty trend, so you'll see anything from 90s hairstyles to makeup and cosmetic trends.

Today's post will be about woman's hairstyles of the 90s. The 90s hairstyle offer great 
varieties where there are plenty of sophisticated and unique hairstyles.
Let's go back to the 90s era and reveal a few of the most popular hairstyles.

The Rachel

This hairstyle was the most famous 90s hairstyle made famous by Jennifer Aniston who played Rachel Green in the hit TV show Friends.



















Butterfly Hair Clips

These hair accessories was pretty popular. The most popular style was creating a face-framing crown of butterflies on top of your head.



















Feathered Bangs

Feathered bangs got its name as the bangs look like feather. These perky, fluffy bangs were all rage back then.



















Mini Buns

This hairstyle was made famous by Gwen Stefani.


















Pixie Cut

The pixie cut is a timeless style. The styling of the 90s pixie cut was messy and chic.
