the 90s. Let’s take a stroll down beauty junkie memory lane.
Did you know a few are still around and reinvented? Here is
a few 90s beauty essentials you HAD to have.
Sun-In
A spray-in hair lightener that practically turned every girl’s
hair orange instead of the perfect sun-kissed blonde like the girls in the commercials.
A trip to the beach was hardly complete without it.
CK One Perfume
A unisex fragrance where it was known as the cool kid
fragrance for an entire high school generation. A revolutionary product where
you most likely made your significant other wear it too because that was the
definition of 90s romance.
Lip Smacker
Lip Balm
Lip balm that
had subtle tints of mouth-watering scents that made each tube irresistible. It
came in a variety of flavours such as tropical flavours, cotton candy,
chocolate, Coca-Cola as well as Dr. Pepper which was the most favourite. I
definitely remember having a few of this around my house.
MAC Lipglass
A lip gloss
in a tube that gave lips the perfect sticky shine.
Hard Candy
Nail Polish
A nail polish
brand that had the most vibrant shades you could find. It had a bonus matching
ring to the nail polish with every purchase... that was usually too big.
