Fashion Fridays - 90s trends that made a comeback!

Welcome back to Fashion Fridays!

In todays segment, I present to you fashion trends that have made a comeback! Now, remember when I said I have noticed more and more 90s vibes in todays fashion? It's really true! Haha! 

Okay, so let's start rolling the comparisons, note that the images to the left are from the 90s and images on the right are from this current era. 

So, let's play a game of "spot the similarities", pretty self explanatory.. Just spot similar trends in the side by side comparison photos!

They're both rocking the deep burgundy lip colour, which is definitely popular in 1995 in the "Grunge" era.

Okay, this ones a little tricky, but the choker is the answer! We see here, Barrymore rocking a ribbon choker and Rihanna sporting a series of stacked gold chokers. There is definitely a more modern twist on the 90s fashion, and is agreeably more tasteful!

Liv Tyler posed in a pair of doc marten boots for the Empire Records in 1995 and we see the reoccurring trend in Alba's outfit in 2013. In fact! Alba's outfit is a spitting image of the 90s! The floral maxi, leather jacket and doc martens!

Ryder, mastering the "Grunge" look with a biker jacket in 1990 and Delevingne rocking the leather jacket in 2014.

Silverstone, spotted in a floral skater dress in 1993 and Kerr in a modernised floral skater skirt accompanied by cut-outs, giving it a more fresh and futuristic vibe.

And finally... What screams more 90s than the SPICE GIRLS?
